Anew Alien game is coming to mobile featuring the star of 2014’s acclaimed Alien: Isolation.
Amanda Ripley, daughter of Sigourney Weaver’s iconic movie hero Ellen Ripley, will return in Alien: Blackout, a horror game that has you attempting to survive aboard a xenomorph-stalked Weyland-Yutani space station.
As Ripley, players will need to guide crew members to safety using a holographic map, cameras and motion trackers. It appears your choices will affect how the narrative unfolds in each playthrough.
Alien: Blackout, which is yet to have a concrete release date, is being developed by FoxNext Games, D3 Go!, and Rival Games. “Outsmart the perfect hunter by making perilous choices,” says D3 Go’s offical site for the game. “Players must rely on the damaged controls of the space station or risk sacrificing crew members to avoid deadly contact, permanently altering the outcome of the game.”
